hug & make up

Emmett & Maggie were both in strange, punchy moods today. They bickered, poked at each other, and were generally wild little monsters at lunch. By the end, though, they hugged & made up.

Emmett & I had a donut in the park this morning before the pouring rain began. We finished just in time- Emmett had time for one trip down the slide before we started to get soaked and made a run for the car.

As we neared the end of a picnic with friends, Emmett borrowed some jammies from Maggie so he could go directly into his bed when we got home.

Also in the driveway house: Emmett went potty, sat on the couch & watched some tv, and cooked corn in the kitchen with Nana.

Nana drew a house, and Daddy drew train tracks with a stop at the front door to the house. Emmett promptly organized Nana, Poppy & Uncle Richard into a meal of corn & peas in the dining room.
